Juggling: A night of learning a new skill. Each Explorer will bring 3 tennis balls, and all will try to learn how to juggle. The ones which can already juggle can help teach the others, or try and juggle 4 balls.
**Equipment needed - 3 tennis/juggling balls per Explorer/Leader **
Communications: The patrols will send messages to each other across the room using semaphore/morsecode. They will ask simple questions, and the opposite patrols will reply to the questions using the same method.
**Equipment needed - flags for semaphore or torches for morse code **
Disability: Using different methods, the Explorers will perform different tasks - painting/drawing with their feet, writing with their teeth, do simple tasks blindfolded etc
**Equipment needed - depends on task performing **
Senses: - Taste - Bring in several food items, which the Explorers will all taste individually, whilst been blindfolded. ** Careful of any allergies**
- Smell - Bring in several items, which the Explorers will all smell individually, whilst been blindfolded.
- Touch - Bring in several items, which the Explorers will all feel individually, whilst been blindfolded.
- Sound - Make a disc/clip of various sounds (animals, traffic, daily sounds etc) and the Explorers will need to guess the sound.
- Sight - Kims Game - Place various items on tray, let the Explorers see them for a set period of time, then cover them up and ask Explorers to remember what they saw.

First Aid Scenarios: Set up some accident/incident scenarios where the Explorers need to act and deal with the injuries.
**Equipment needed - training first aid kit - Bandages, wound dressings, Annie - and maybe some props **
Pioneering Skills: Using pioneering poles, ensure all Explorers can do a square lashing, diagonal lashing, clove hitch etc.
**Equipment needed - Pioneering Poles and rope **
Make a Turks Head Woggle: Teach the Patrol Leaders how to make a turks head woggle, then they can show the rest of the patrol how to make
**Equipment needed - material to make the woggles **
Carved wooden woggle: Each explorer is given a plain small wooden woggle and they will carve out a design or pattern onto the woggle.
Mini Pioneering: Using small dowel or match sticks, set the patrols a challenge to make the best Mini Pioneering structure.
**Equipment needed - Small Dowel, cotton, matchsticks **
